The Girder-Slab System and D-Beam® Girder are distributed and assembled solely by steel contractors authorized by Girder-Slab Technologies LLC of NJ, the exclusive Distributor Representative in North America. Contact your preferred steel contractors for budgeting, proposals and system availability.
The Girder-Slab System & D-Beam® Girder are patented but competitively available. We offer a project by project license to your preferred steel contractors.

Girder-Slab® System Overview
The Girder-Slab® System is the result of a remarkable approach to the development of new technology, given its exploitation of practices and materials long proven within the industry. Consider the following:
- The building superstructure design and specification process follows established methods and practices applicable to competitive bid, design-build or negotiated situations.
- A registered professional engineer is engaged to design the superstructure according to customary practice, incorporating the Design-Guide information much the same as for other products, such as metal deck or bar joists.
- Superstructure design follows typical AISC steel design criteria including lateral load resistance.
- Industry steel contractors can provide the entire steel frame superstructure package, inclusive of the Girder-Slab System. They are equipped to prepare budgeting and proposals for the complete structure package as well as undertake construction and assembly.
- The D-Beam is fabricated from standard, rolled WF sections and flat bar readily available from industry suppliers. Fabrication can be self-performed by steel fabricators or they can outsource the D-Beam.
- Industry steel erectors can perform the assembly and erection process for the entire steel frame and precast superstructure. For the first time ever, they can do so without the interruption of poured slabs.
- Commonly used precast, prestressed hollow core slabs are available from precast suppliers.
